Yeah, I get sick and tired of the attitude that they are "click and Create" images when that is so far from the truth. It is the same for Bryce and Vue and all the 3d programs out there. If you do not have the talent and creativity to manipulate the program than they are pretty useless. I would love to see what folks with this attitude could create with Apophysis or even Bryce. I've tried it and I can't do dookie!(Bryce) You seem to have a good handle on it!

(hej - sorry I’m so late with this reply! )Well, I never really intended to use Bryce other than a tool , so if I needed a 3D shape I would create it in Bryce. These day’s it satisfies just about all my needs OK and I really don’t get time to learn other 3D progs or fractal stuff. Takes time to get these onboard!
As you say, somebody has to be behind the wheel and it really comes down to our imagination and skill to get a result.
