Then I gave it a closer look. I couldn't see anything wrong with your fractal, but I do have something against your surrounding elements.
Your city doesn't have a base. I don't think you could have made the fractal with that, but some land would have been nice. Having the water right up the walls like that makes me think you caught it in the middle of a flood.
I completely agree with you on using the moon here. Your 'buildings' are lit up like it's night time. But with that said, I question you mixing a sunset sky and a starry night sky together since the light and clouds would have canceled out the stars.
But I has a great impact value, and as always your fractal is great.
