very appropriately titled due to the fact that it's the color of burgundy and that you look like you made this while you were drunk off the wine by the same name. why this wasn't a DD is beyond me but it still gets my "Thumbz Up Award".

i do have a question after looking in your gallery for inspiration: how do you get the hearts to look like that? you have some parameters i can borrow? we can swap some stuff, i got a few heart fractals i had already uploaded that are old and new ones i made. i can tell on a few of yours that you used hyperbolic on them.

The hearts are done using a final Juliascope transform. I will see what I can do about digging up some params for you in the next few days!

I think what you are seeing is Epispiral. I don't generally use hyperbolic. Send me some links to the ones you like.

was this a variation of that tutorial that guy does of the fractal storm and other fractal tuts like "Celtic Knots" and "Vesper"? i've experimented with that tut 1nce and never did again.

i didn't hate it, just hadn't messed with Apophysis much after that. now i'm getting back into it after seeing waaaaaay too many good ones, and that includes animation (the main drive behind me working with it to begin with besides that it's so freakin' awesome!). if it is then i already know what steps to take, just reread the tut and play with whatever variations he has in there. if this is from a tutorial i would like that too, i ALWAYS like to follow tutorials, or at least the ones i find interesting.
